CPFIM/ACPFIM Re-Certification Training - Hybrid

The nationally recognized Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (CPFIM) certification program is designed to provide the confidence and knowledge to manage your investments better. The certification must be renewed every five years. This APT US&C training course is the easiest way to renew your certification while gaining an invaluable refresher and update on the concepts of managing public funds investments. The training topics include:

  • Review of the concepts from the six modules of the CPFIM (Investment Instruments; Banks, Brokers and Advisors; Governance and Your Investment Policy; Safety, Liquidity, and Yield; Cash Flow; Strategy).
  • Strategy and application of concepts from the six modules.
  • Current market analysis and interpreting the potential impact to your strategy.
  • Upcoming financial/investment trends.

This session is offered as a hybrid - you can attend in-person at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lansing, Michigan or via the interactive livestreaming session. Online attendees can ask questions or comment via the chat (livestreaming is via Zoom Meetings). Training includes poll questions that attendees must participate in; there will be no written exam. Classroom time is two and a half hours. Graduates will receive an emailed certificate upon completion of an evaluation and a mailed plaque/insert recognizing their accomplishment.
