2026 Annual Conference

The Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada (APT US&C) is proud to invite you to their 60th Annual Conference. The 2026 hybrid event will be held August 16-19 at the Amway Grand Hotel and DeVos Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  

We are thrilled to partner with the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association (MMTA) for a joint annual conference this year. Thank you to the MMTA Board of Directors for their support and for the Michigan members who are already working with the APT planning committee to bring all attendees amazing  topics, speakers, and activities. 

The conference is an excellent opportunity for you to add to your skills while networking with treasury and finance leaders from around the country.

Enjoy an evening of connection and excitement at the LMCU Ballpark as we cheer on the Whitecaps Baseball team! We’ve reserved private seating in the Family Fare Clubhouse, offering a comfortable and exclusive space for our group. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Cost: $50 per person and includes game ticket, food, and beverages. We look forward to sharing a great night of baseball and networking with you!

Explore Michigan Activities

We’ve put together a fantastic line-up of “Explore Michigan” activities designed to help you experience the best of what the state has to offer. Enjoy an afternoon with one of the options below. Cost is only $50 per person and includes lunch. Transportation also provided, if needed. 

  • Meijer Gardens: Experience a relaxing and inspiring afternoon at the world-renowned Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Enjoy the stunning indoor and outdoor exhibits, take a tram tour of the grounds, and savor a delicious lunch.
  • Day at Lake Michigan: Spend your afternoon at one of Michigan’s most popular beachside restaurants. Enjoy lunch, live entertainment, and the breathtaking views of one of Michigan's beautiful Great Lakes.
  • Grand Rapids Brewery Tour: Explore the craft beer scene Grand Rapids is famous for! Visit three local breweries and enjoy a selection of beverages paired with lunch on this fun and flavorful tour.

End your day with us at the Conference Welcome Reception! Join us at the Grand Rapids Public Museum from 6:00–8:00 pm for an unforgettable evening. Enjoy access to three levels of exhibits, wonderful food, and excellent networking opportunities in a truly unique setting. The Reception is complimentary for all conference attendees. Guests are welcome and may be added for an additional cost.

Monday and Tuesday, August 17-18 offers a full line up of activities, training and networking from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern. Wednesday, August 19 will close the conference with training and networking from 10:00 am to Noon Eastern. A full line-up of speakers and training topics will be coming soon!
